New2TheCity.com enables people to connect with each other through their key interests. It also enables it's users to connect with their favourite Bars, Clubs, Shops and Restaurants and download vouchers to get money off!
Signing Up − When you sign up, we ask for some key interests, this is so we can connect you with people in your city that you might have something in common with. We won't play matchmaker, but we will make it easy for you to decide who you would like to add as a friend, based on you shared interests.
Faces − Faces are the individual users of the site. They may be students who have just gone to university an looking to meet friends, or they may already live in the city and know what is going on. You can add faces to your profile and keep in touch with them through the New2TheCity messaging service.
Places − Places are the Bars, Clubs, Shops, Restaurants, Museums etc in your city that want you to know they are there. They can add vouchers for you to download or list their events on our events calendar. Faces can even add their own pictures to the Places profile page.
Groups − Anyone can create a group on New2TheCity and search through the Faces on the site to invite users with key interests relating to the group to join.
Vouchers − Places on New2TheCity can add their own vouchers to their profile page for their customers to get money off.
Events − Places on New2TheCity can add events to our events calendar, keeping everyone up to date with what is going on.
Questions − If you are New2TheCity and want to ask users a question like "Where is a there a good indie night in Liverpool", other users that know the answer will post a reply.
